My Story:

The original ball is of similar technology as the Adidas Etrusco Unico used in the 1990 FIFA World Cup held in Italy and the 1992 UEFA European Championship held in Sweden. However I have not seen an original one sold anywhere so far so would have to do with this reported remake by Adidas.  The texture is not smooth unlike the original so it could be based on a newer and more lasting surface which would be good for a collectible as rare as this.

The ball has the additional Barcelona 92 Olympics logo and also the wordings ‘Balon oficial seleccionado de los Juegos Olimpicos Barcelona’ 92′ instead of ‘Official Ball FIFA World Cup 1990’ seen in the Adidas Etrusco Unico 1990 Italy FIFA World Cup match ball.  Another difference is that the Adidas logo only has the words ‘adidas’ and not the retro Adidas logo.

The Official Story:

I have not seen one yet probably because this was a ball not seen in general retail or it was just that uncommon. Please let me know if you have any.

Technical Story:

No country of make.

FIFA Approved Code: None

Hi, just wondering if this ball has the “For Use in All Weather Conditions” logo on one of the panels, or did the addition of the Olympic logo eliminate this one?

    Thanks,
    Phil

Hi the ball does not have the “For Use in All Weather Conditions”, not sure if it is due to elimination.
