My Story:

The fourth of match balls used in the first UEFA Europa League final held in the Amsterdam but unlike the Finales used in the UEFA Champions League final, these balls do not have its own unique design other than having the team names. The 2013 UEFA Europa League final was the final match of the 2012/2013 UEFA Europa League season contested between Benfica of Portugal and Chelsea of England, at the Amsterdam Arena in Amsterdam, which was won 1-2 by Chelsea in normal regulation time.

The ball has a slight tweak from last year’s version with the surface technology to that of Tango 12 used in the 2012 Ukraine Poland UEFA European Championship, whereby the grooves are more refined looking to the eye.

The Official Story:

You won’t typically see in for a finals match ball so you can take the regular 2012 Europa League match ball one as the exact representation.
