My Story:

This 2009 Andalucia Peace Cup ball is third version of the family of F50 balls which rides on the technology of the Adidas Teamgeist 2, Terrapass or Europass with the PSC-Texture.  This ball with its colour scheme of dark red and blue shapes clustering together to form wavy shapes gives it a rather futuristic look.  Other times this ball has been officially seen is in the 2009 UEFA European Under-19 Championship held in Ukraine and the 2009 Audi Cup off-season friendly tournament held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

The 2009 Peace Cup Andalucia was an invitational friendly football tournament. It was the 4th edition of Peace Cup and was held in Spain from 24 July to 2 August in the cities of Madrid, Seville, Málaga, Jerez and Huelva.  It was the first time that the tournament has been hosted by a nation other than South Korea.  The winners of the tournament were English side Aston Villa, who defeated Juventus of Italy in the final.  They succeeded Olympique Lyonnais who were the previous holders of the tournament, winning the 2007 edition.  It was one of seven 2009 pre-season friendly tournaments, the others being the Emirates Cup, the Barclays Asia Trophy, the World Football Challenge, the Wembley Cup, the Amsterdam Tournament and the Audi Cup.

The Official Story:

There should not be one available for a ball unsold in general retail so the generic F50 (version 3) one should suffice.
