My Story:

The Adidas Fevernova Response is another lower end version of the Fevernova but still FIFA Approved, hence considered a cheaper match quality ball.  The colour scheme looks a lot like the Fevernova used in the 2002 FIFA World Cup but having plain panels instead.  However since the FIFA Approved code is 202.R4Z as compared to the top end Fevernova used in both the men’s and women’s World Cups which is 202.S8D, it is definitely of a lesser technology.  The Fevernova Orange also has a code of 202.R4Z, hence the technology is the same.

According to Wikipedia: Tercera División is the fourth level of the Spanish football league system. The top three are the Primera División, often referred to as “La Liga” in English, the Segunda División, and Segunda División B.  The Tercera División currently features 361 teams divided into 18 regional groups, corresponding to the Autonomous communities of Spain (due to its huge size, Andalucia is divided into two different groups).

The Official Story:

I have not seen one online so any contibutions would be helpful.

Technical Story:

Made in Pakistan.

FIFA Approved Code: 202.R4Z

    Hi there Wilson,

    First of all, Great website,
This time i was searching for info on a fevernova wich i can buy from a dutch ebay
clone (we agreed on € 40.00 incl.shipping) but i asked the seller for some extra pictures cause i’m still not sure if it is what he says it is (an official match ball)
it’s a fifa aproved ball #202.S4D but the print is all gold with red flames
I did find one on your site that seems to match, it’s the fevernova from the Japanese league, i wonder how it ended up in holland ?
By the way i have also got a fevernova response (a bit used but still ok to look at)
I couldn’t find anything about it untill now, thanks for that !
(I also got an Azteca maya, a tango Bologna (or) and a tango napoli and some replica’s (terrestra, fevernova lance and a pelias extreme)
If possible, please tell me what you think of the fifa aproved fevernova (buy or not)

    Regards,
    Marc

Sorry for the late response as I was overseas. Did you mean FIFA Approved 202.S8D?

    Hey Wilson,

Thanks for the reply, and yes it was FIFA aproved 202.S8D, i didn’t trust the ball at first because of the print (all gold with red flame) but it looks and feels ok so i’m proud to own it.
I’ve recently bought 2 other balls, one is a Fevernova sala training 65, (futsal) i got it realy cheap, but then again, it feels very cheap as well, whatever… it looks great on my wall….
The other ball is an original Tango Etrusco sportivo, (print is red/black) never used but it probably was stored in someones garage (because i found some spots from spray paint on it)
it wasn’t stored very carefully though, it was not inflated for a very long time, so the shape isn’t 100%, and on top of it all the blatter is punctured or probably worse…
I’ve might decide to have the blatter chanced, but only if they can promise me that the outside stay’s intact, what do you think about this ?

    Regards Marc

Hi Marc, you could get the bladder changed and it’s likely that it will not be damaged. Do you know of someone who can fix it?
