My Story:

The sixth ball of the Finale range is also nicknamed the Finale 6.  From this version onwards, it seems that Adidas has given the Finale balls a bit more livery and the star designs are getting a bit more colorful.   Coming off the back of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany, the Finale 6 embraces the same technology as the Teamgeist, thermally bonded but no longer the traditional 32 panels of previous balls.  The 14 curved panels of this Teamgeist breed heralds the new design and technology of the Adidas balls in years to come.  And it seems they also kept the official description shorter and simpler.

The Official Story:

The new shape of accuracy.

1 Revoluntionary Panel Shape: eliminates surface irregularities to create a perfectly round ball for greater accuracy.

2 New Carcass: improves accuracy and power.

3 Complete Underglass Print: significantly decreases abrasion of design.

4 Thermal Bonding: seamless panels create a smooth, consistent kicking surface.
