My Story:

The ninth ball of the Finale range is also nicknamed the Finale 9. This is similar to the Finale 8 in that the design incorporates the Teamgeist 2 technology used in the Teamgeist 2 versions of balls, the Europass and and the Terrapass. A notable difference is seen on the surface whereby the ball has that PSC-Texture or in simpler English, goose bumps like feel for greater touch of the ball.  However this would be the last of its kind for a Finale as the ball used in the finals for 2009/2010 is the Adidas Finale Madrid 2010 UEFA Champions League Final match ball which incorporates the radical star panels technology.  This star technology will become the hallmark of all Finales going forward.

The Official Story:

Scientifically engineered micro-texture provides:

– More Power through greater friction between ball and boot.

– More Swerve due to increased spin rates.

– More Control thanks to greater contact between boot, glove and ball.
