My Story:

The Finale Moscow had a touch of Russian art as the finals was held in Moscow, capital of Russia. The 2008 UEFA Champions League final was the final match of the 2007/2008 UEFA Champions League season contested between Manchester United of England and Chelsea of England at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, which was won 6-5 on penalties by Manchester United after the score was tied 1-1 in normal regulation time. The game will be remembered by John Terry’s slip as he took the penalty which hit the post when a goal would have sealed Chelsea the victory.

This ball has the Manchester United FC vs Chelsea FC inscription and is probably one of the actual match balls used at the 2008 UEFA Champions League Finals held in Moscow.

The Official Story:

Since this is the actual ball used in the finals and has the name of the teams, it is not available in general retail and hence you can rely on the generic one instead.
