My Story:

The Finale Munich women’s match ball is similar in design as the male version with the main notable difference is that the colours of the women’s ball has shades of red and purple instead of light blue and light green. The wordings in the white non-star panels just says ‘2012 Munich’ throughout and is written in gold like the male finals version (which is different from the silver in the retail version used from the knock-out stages to the semi-finals). The 2012 UEFA Women’s Champions League final was the final match of the 2011/2012 UEFA Women’s Champions League season contested between Olympique Lyonnais of France and 1. FFC Frankfurt of Germany at the Olympiastadion in Munich, which was won 2-0 by Lyon in normal regulation time.

This ball has the Olympique Lyonnais vs 1. FFC Frankfurt inscription and is probably one of the actual match balls used at the 2012 UEFA Women’s Champions League Finals held in Munich.
