My Story:

One of the more valuable balls around, this Jabulani 2010 FIFA World Cup ball was used in the quarter final between Argentina and Germany at the Green Point Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa.  The match was won 0-4 by Germany over normal regulation time.  This ball has the ‘USED Official Match Ball of the 2010 FIFA World Cup’ stamp but I have been told by reliable sources that this is not the original stamp.

One major tell tale is that the article number of this ball is E42040 while the authentic match used one was V00816.  It is a pity for me but this is a lesson for us all so I shall look at the positives instead.

The Official Story:

The official version of the Jabulani would suffice.

Technical Story:

Made in China.

FIFA Approved Code: 202.A8J
