My Story:

The Adidas Questra Europa probably rides on the popularity of the Adidas Questra ball used in the 1994 FIFA World Cup held in the United States of America, where it considered exciting with goals flying in and some attributing this to the technology of the Questra.  What better way to ride on its fame then to use it in the 1996 UEFA European Championship held in England, considered as the second most important after the World Cup.  This time the trigon motif is replaced with the three lions of England, resplendant with a red rose in the middle.

This ball has the logo “UEFA European Championship 1996” and also the FIFA Approved Code of 202.L5E.

The finals was held at the Wembley Stadium, London and Germany defeated the Czech Republic 1-2 with a golden goal in extra time after the score was tied 1-1 in normal regulation time.

The Official Story:

I have not really seen one online yet, probably too old to have something officially written and uploaded into the world wide web.  There must be something so anyone who has something, please let me know!

Technical Story:

Made in Spain.

FIFA Approved Code: 202.L5E

    Hi Wilson,

a few weeks ago I bought a Questra Europa Made in Spain in a superb condition, just like your own “logo version one”.
Now I realised that there is a mistake in the writing on the ball and I´m a little worried that I`ve probably bought some faked ball.
The story is this: At the “two year stitching and shape guarantee” panel the word guarantee is written with just one E. So the word is: guarante.
My research in the internet offered me no other ball with a mistake like this one.
Could adidas have made the mistake by themselves by creating this panel?
    It´s hard to believe.
If you can give me some tip or know somebody who owns a ball like mine, I would be very thankful.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hendrik

Hi. Could anyone help me. I’m trying to get hold of a mini version of this ball and the Terresta Sliversteam euro 2000 ball also size mini. If there is anyone out there who knows of somewhere to get hold of these balls would be a great help. If hunted high and low for them. HELP.
