My Story:

A new World cup heralds in a new improved technology of a better and rounder Adidas balls, coupled with the fact that this design really looks smart, efficient and effective. The Adidas Teamgeist Berlin comes in gold and black, which to a certain extent makes this ball look like a trophy in itself, and certainly worthy of a ball used in the finals.  For the first time in a World Cup we see a different colour scheme of match ball being used as compared to the match balls used in the earlier matches.

The finals was held at the at the Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany and Italy defeated France 5-3 on penalties after the score was tied 1-1 in normal regulation time.

Hello, I am very interested in buying this ball. I was there on 9/07/06 and recently got an Italy 2006 jersey and the tickets of the final on a frame. The ball would definitely close a tremendous collection and immortalize that memorable day for me.
    How much did it costs?

I am not selling this at the moment but you should be able to buy from ebay. Have you searched there yet? I reckon it’s going for at least 200 Euros now minimum.
