My Story:

This is the Mitre Pro 100T (or Mitre Atom?) that was supposedly issued for use in the 2007 Football League Cup final between Chelsea and Arsenal at The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, which was won 2-1 by Chelsea.  The numbering on this ball is 116/150 which means that it was likely issued to either team for training purposes.

This ball had the same FIFA Approved Code 219.Q0E as the Pro 100T and does not have its own name even though it has the atom-like symbol design.  Calling it the Mitre Atom does sound nice for sure.  What do you think?

The Official Story:

I have not seen one yet since this is supposed a match issued ball for the final.   The story for the generic Mitre Pro 100T should be good enough.

Technical Story:
