My Story:

This is probably the cheapest or oldest version of the Nike Geo series but still of match ball quality with the wordings state Meets or Exceeds International Matchball Standards and Tested by SGS United Kingdom Limited, Wembley which I believe was the norm for Nike match quality balls of those era.  No FIFA Approved logo is seen and also there is so far no knowledge of the ball being used in any league or competition.  The closest I could get was the Nike NK 350 Geo used in the Spanish Primera Liga 1996-1997 season.

Compared to the higher end Nike NK 800 Geo, the Nike NK 250 Geo has a harder feel to it and seems like a pain to put in a header.  Well it’s much cheaper all right.

The Official Story:

Nike may have advertised for the generic NK 250 Geos in those days so appreciate if this can be found.

Technical Story:

Made in Pakistan.
