My Story:

This is one of the match balls used in the finals held in Monaco 2008 between Manchester United (2007/2008 UEFA Champions League winners) of England and Zenit St. Petersburg (2007/2008 UEFA Cup Winners) of Russia. The match was won 1-2 by Zenit St. Petersburg in normal regulation time.  The technology of the ball is the Total 90 Omni which is not used in major leagues but in major leagues in England, Italy and Spain, and continental competitions in UEFA, CONMEBOL and AFC.

Since this ball was not sold online or in shops, Nike probably did not give it a name like a Mercurial something, a Total 90 whatever so I took the liberty to call this the Nike Super Cup.  The design of the ball is also unique such that it looks like the Super Cup trophy and it was not replicated in other Nike balls.  Another true gem that appreciates in value.

The Official Story:

I have not seen one since these are not on general retail but the generic Total 90 Omni one will be as good as it gets.

Technical Story:

Made in China.
